Master Wall Inc.® Diamond Cote is a thick gloss sealer for use over Master Wall® finishes, especially smooth version where a sealer will add protection, deepen the color, and add glossy highlights. High traffic areas where washability is imperative or rooms that experience high humidity, such as bathrooms, should be sealed with Diamond Cote.

JOB CONDITIONS
Air and substrate temperature for application of Diamond Cote must be 53°F (13°C) or higher and must remain above 53°F (13°C) or higher until fully set. Provide temporary protection to protect the wall system from damage until permanent flashings, caps and sealants are installed. Store materials within prescribed temperature limits and out of direct sun-light. High temperatures will reduce working times, Low temperatures and/or high humidity and pigment loading will extend working, set and dry times.
PREPARATION
After the newly-applied finish has dried, wipe the surface with a clean damp rag to eliminate any dust. Allow the surface to dry.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Diamond Cote is applied using either a sponge, stainless steel Japanese Trowel or a putty knife. It cannot be rolled, brushed, or sprayed on. For sponge application dip the sponge into the Diamond Cote and apply to the finish, maintaining a wet surface while working the product into a small area. Hold the trowel at a 60° angle and scrape a very thin layer of the topcoat onto the dry Venetian Plaster finish. Scrape off any excess using a clean trowel and let this coat dry. This application will slightly darken the color and will dry to a satin sheen.
CLEAN UP
Tools and equipment can be cleaned with soapy water while the sealer is still wet.
Hazard: This chemical is not considered hazardous according to the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard 2012 (29 CFR 1910.1200).
