Cemplaster Fiberstucco Structa Lath Systems

CEMPLASTER TWIN TRAC

When looking for a modern interpretation of stucco, look no further than the Cemplaster Twin Trac System. The Structa Wire Corp. Twin Trac lath comes in rolls (not sheets) and installs quickly with significant savings in both material and labor. Teamed with Master Wall® Cemplaster Fiberstucco’s options of a concentrated or ready-mixed version for consistent stucco quality and Superior Finish, it helps bring projects in on time and under budget.

CEMPLASTER MEGA LATH

The Cemplaster Mega Lath System is a full-thickness, fully reinforced, and warranted version of traditional stucco. The Structa Wire Corp. heavy-duty Mega Lath offers significant savings in both material and labor. With Master Wall® Cemplaster Fiberstucco for better crack resistance and Superior Elastomeric Plus Finish to bridge minor hairline cracks, it’s the most durable and best-backed system available.

Stucco Cement Board Coatings

Stucco Cement Board Coatings are applied over a high-strength water-managed National Gypsum® PermaBase® or PermaBase® CI cement board. The system can be applied over continuous insulation, and offers ventilated drainage mat assemblies and SuperShield Rollershield air/water barrier options.

Easier Application

The cement board installs easily over approved framing and substrates using one of two methods: -Over an approved structural sheathing in conditioned northern climates. -Directly to structurally controlled framing in southern climates (below 4000 Heating degrees days) or unconditioned northern climates.

Features and Benefits:

  • 5-year standard limited warranty
  • Extended warranties to 12-years
  • Primecoat Primer helps brighten finishes, improving aesthetics
  • SuperiorShield Rollershield Liquid-applied Air/Water Barrier (LAB)
  • Three Options to keep buildings dryer: Rollershield-RS, vapor open roll grade / Rollershield-TG, vapor open trowel grade / Rollershield-VB vapor closed roll grade
  • Extremely low air and water infiltration properties
  • Fully warranted air/water protection
Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF)

Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) are constructed with insulation boards on the inside and outside. Nothing could be easier than coating the insulation board with Master Wall®.

As a siding option, installing Master Wall® coatings over ICF’s is an easy choice. Forms with buried ties work better than exposed ties, which require an additional layer of insulation board. The Certified Master Wall Independent Applicator rasps the ICF insulation board to level minor irregularities. Master Wall Mesh, Base Coat, and Finish complete the job. Finally, a qualified sealant contractor seals windows, doors, and other openings in the wall.

Uninsulated Finish System

Masonry walls are boring. Jazz it up with Master Wall. The textured finish will update any plain, unpainted masonry.

The installation is as simple as it sounds. The designer specifies a base coat, either F&M or F&M Plus. The Certified Master Wall® Independent Applicator may use a Standard Mesh to help with leveling (but it’s not required). Finally, a Superior Finish is applied to complete the job.

Superior Finishes over Stucco

Stucco has been around for a long time. Master Wall® Inc.’s Superior Finishes improve the look of this time-tested wall cladding.

The generic term “stucco” includes several variations, including traditional three-coat stucco and Master Wall®acrylic modified stucco with improved strength and crack resistance. Typical installations include the stucco, reinforced foam trim aesthetic pieces, and a Master Wall Superior Finish.

Stucco practices vary by region but include a water barrier and metal reinforcement. Designers and specifiers should list ASTM C-926 and ASTM C-1063 as references, select specific installation practices, and locate control joints accordingly. For professional results, the wall should be primed with Master Wall Primecoat and our Superior Finish. For extra durability, specify Superior Elastomeric Finish, designed to bridge the minor cracking common to stucco.
